Stephen The Great was prince of Moldavia from 1457 to 1504. With the help of the Walachian prince Vlad III the Impaler, Stephen secured the throne of Moldavia and though it was marked by continual strife, Stephen’s long reign nonetheless brought considerable cultural development as well as a long period of prosperity for the people and it’s nation.
